It was 1972 when Sergio and Paola Vanzo started their activity as hoteliers and restaurateurs. Paola welcomed customers with her smile and kindness; Sergio delighted their palates with his kitchen, offering them simple but tasty dishes, typical of our Trentino cuisine. Today, their daughter Jngrid continues to offer delicious traditional Trentino dishes with a touch of innovation.

We are staying in this lovely town of Cavalese and wanted to eat in a different restaurant and found La Stua, which is very central. It is very Tyrolean in style, lots of painted old wood and pretty patterned tablecloths, with cotton napkins which is always nicer than paper ones.

The food in the restaurant is quite good and the service is very good. And the town of Cavalese is great for experiencing village life in Northern Italy. We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Stua and should have stayed longer. Next time we will!
